I think Klaw/Killmonger should rest for another year or so, but I'd like to see more characterization and feats for Tetu, Zenzi, and some of the Originators. But the latter should have their history completely retconned.

All Stelfreeze has a really good BP design. The side ears really grew on me lol. If more artists could get it right I'd be happy to see more of it. In the future I hope we can see T'Challa with his cape and gold lining.
I’m hoping Achebe gets a push next honestly. I miss that guy. Stelfreeze’s art has definitely been the one big part of the Coates era that I’m going to miss. Wish he’d get another chance under a better writer because his stuff absolutely should have been iconic in the same way Romita Sr. is for Spidey or Ivan Reis is for GL. If we get a new costume I hope they give him the cape again.

Yeah the irony of that is funny considering Marvel doesn’t use SIs, although there’s still an aspect of it with mutants and their names.

How to completely miss the point of Black Panther in one sentence (from the solicit for TNC's final issue):

"In his final issue, he’ll bring T’Challa full circle, back to the home he left behind…and the crown he has never fully accepted."

This looks like the end of the series panel after T'Challa has been lectured by Shuri, Ramonda, Storm, Aneka, Ayo, random Dora on the left, and changaroo about how much he fails as a king and he needs to not hold resentment for his people.i mean, this IS Coates well se talking about.

Yeah this isn't bees at all, we knew forever ago that MBJ was going to be back in the sequel, from Angela Bassett spilling the beans and it being announced. The only "new" part about it is the unreliable claims that he is going to take the mantle

Yes but with this movie now not having the titular character in it my question is "who is he coming back to talk to and why on earth does anyone not named Tchalla need to speak to him?"

And the Tin Man will get a heart, The Cowardly Lion will get courage and The Scarecrow will get a brain.

No different than Abrams putting Greg Grunberg in his movies and tv shows.

Or Adam Sandler using the same director for his movies.

No confirmation from Marvel yet but it is a Ryan coogler movie so yea, more Michael B Killmonger. Maybe this time we can go on an hour long journey walking us through his Redemption as he takes his place as the New Black Panther for little boys to look up to. Nevermind the murder stuff from last time.
We never saw Killmonger buried. He could have been in cryo sleep like we have seen Tony Stark do WAY TOO MANY TIMES IN HIS BOOK.

Does the snap dust someone like that?

Heck, even T'Challa did that once, in the Priest run.

He asked Tchalla to let him die. So we would have to believe Tchalla ignored that wish thus diminishing Killmongers very popular quote and semiheroic death and reflecting poorly on the character of Tchalla, who will not be around to explain or defend that choice.

    Why Mr. Thorne?
The X-Kiddies are losing their minds, over there.

How was it semi heroic? There was nothing heroic about his death, it was a sad almost pathetic death, dying in a mine hundreds of meters underground.

Logically you are right. But the line was designed to give him sympathy and reverence with some which judging by how much its repeated and praised by casual fans who prefer Killmonger...it was successful in its purpose.

Ppl are asking for Killmonger to become Tchalla aka Black Panther for this reason.

Oh lord, what have we wrought?
The only good thing about the Tchalla/Storm entanglement is the amount of MONEY it would have made off the Drama in the MCU w the casual viewers into high royalty relationship dysfunction. Theyd forget about making Shuri take Tchallas place in exchange for that. Since Kevin feige is going to let them make it up as they go anyway might as well turn it into an episode of Power
