On another note, is this not Coogler second film that he actually wrote and directed? But I still wonder what would Ava Duverany would have done with Black Panther. I know the wrinkle in time did not go so well. Maybe an understatement. But she do have DMZ and Naomi for Warner Bros.

when it comes to T'Challas standard gear, I think Priest stuff should be the baseline and modify from there. I know some are saying his habit should be resistant instead of bullet/ stab Proof but honestly I think that should stay, bullets and direct stabs don't work against him, slashes and extreme blows or vice grips are. We don't need some BS of T'Challa getting shot on the back and taken out. Bullet/ stab proof and slash resistant (as we have seen the habit stop Slash attacks) but can still be cut. I think that's the best.. the most advanced nation on earth isn't going to have a king who can be killed by a random bullet or gett shanked.

Agreed, I'm not sure what the point is of having access to advanced technology just to have no ability to shrug off blade attacks, or bullets. The added bonus would be having habit that at least allows for to take punishment from big power threats even if he might not have equivalent punching power.

Now that would be connecting things for the sake of it. It would be horrible storytelling and a tad nightmarish for the BP fans that can't stand connecting the IP to the X-Men

The first was co-written by Joe Robert Cole and yes this will be his second Marvel film that he will be directing.

I like Ava, but she wouldn’t have made a superhero film in a modern sense. She would have made an interesting film tho, but likely a more decisive one
