Like I get a lot of yall hate this run and this writer but what is this? This whole run has been a deconstruction of Wakanda and I get that it wasn't need and most here didn't want it but why should we have them continue on that way just because? That reeks of a tantrum mindset, not criticism with intent to improve it....

I think them acknowledging that some of rhe things they did in the past were wrong and offering another way is better than just "owning" it.

I'm going to say Shadow Physics all the cities and the Mound to a new planet. Tchalla either lives out of Avengers Mt. or the Island he bought in FF annual #5(first time meeting Black Bolt). Either or both would have a teleporter to the new planet.

Was it weird that they were still in chains. When they invaded in the second arc they weren't wearing any. And are they immortal or does the dimension they were sent to keep them from aging? Lol

Assuming Wakanda wins this war with the empire and keeps up contact with its territories, it shouldn’t be hard for T’Challa to arrange a settlement program on one of the many planets, moons, or asteroids contained in the 5 galaxies. The Originators don’t seem to have a population any larger than a small nation, so it’s really just a matter of ferrying a few million demons across the stars. That’s the only way the Originators can be paid these “reparations” without Ramonda coming off like she’s just spouting empty platitudes.

Giving them their own territory also makes it much easier for subsequent writers to ignore them altogether. Most of the changes Coates made to the mythos are superficial at best (Constitutional Council, liberated Dora Milaje, the Orisha) and can easily be sidestepped, with an offworld Originators being just one more thing that’ll fade into obscurity.

T'challa was beaten up torture porn style. It is a little much at times.

I will never talk bad about McGregor in regards to whether he liked T'challa and Wakanda. He obviously does. Just his brand of story telling doesn't click with me at all.

With McGregor, I am critiquing his storytelling choices. With Coates, I am questioning EVERYTHING. it si a different level of critique lol

Atleast with McGregor, he atleast tried to actually make meaningful lore to T'Challas franchise, yeah he had some torture porn that got ridiculous at times, and I don't appreciate T'Challa getting beat up by rando teenagers or getting his head split by some old lady... But then he did stuff like have him stop a Giant ass crocodile from biting down on him, kill a t rex using a tree, and pull some insane durability feats. Coates... Channel's the power of armchair general, and when Coates finally begrudgingly has him fight it's with over reliance on the force push... Not even diving into a level of racism that would have marvel crucified if Coates were white

Only giving back the land that was originally theres would be reparations. The humans came from somewhere else, so they are the ones who need to go somewhere else. Anything else is just another reservation with a better view.

I agree that IDEALLY Wakandans would just give the land back and find their own place to call home. But just like how it’s not feasible for America to give the entirety of its territory to the indigenous peoples they stole it from, we all know Wakanda will never do that. Giving the Originators their own independent planet is a much better deal than many real life displaced peoples have gotten in the wake of genocide or war. Far from what is morally ideal but it’s something and I imagine that future demon babies will be happy their parents took Ramonda’s deal lol.
