So this new big bad has taken down Man-Thing and is using his power or body to enact her evil scheme. As a result all these spores/giant fungi pop-up around the world. The Avengers spread out to deal with them. Most people are getting burned by the growth but not the Wakandans. T'Challa deduces the situation and discovers light plays a key factor in activating the spores. He takes the necessary steps to render the Wakandan spore inert. BP recognizes that the floral composition is similar to that of Man-Thing and explains that's why Captain America and the Wakandans do not burn because they are unafraid.

Racist never want a black person to be the lead of any BLACK film. Ryan and Feige knows better. The same racist said Bucky would save wakanda in the first film as we saw marvel knows better

Marvel's bizarre, beastly Man-Thing turns 50 this year (first debuting in 1971's Savage Tales #1), and to celebrate writer Steve Orlando is penning a series of three one-shots under the banner Curse of the Man-Thing, which will pull in the Avengers, Spider-Man, and the X-Men as Man-Thing's odd fear powers are weaponized by a mysterious new villain known as Harrower.

Along with artists Francesco Mobili, Marco Failla, and Andrea Broccardo on the Avengers, Spider-Man, and X-Men one-shots, respectively, Orlando is planning an epic tale that will sweep across the entire Marvel Universe and show exactly what Man-Thing means to the publisher's legacy.

Newsarama caught up with Orlando ahead of the March 31 release of Avengers: Curse of the Man-Thing (followed by Spider-Man: Curse of the Man-Thing on April 28, and X-Men: Curse of the Man-Thing on May 5) to discuss Orlando's Marvel Comics debut, his own history with the publisher and with Man-Thing, and what he has planned for the milestone anniversary of one of the weirdest characters in mainstream comic books.

I don't know a damn thing about Man-Thing but always good to see Blade and always good to see T'challa as leader, directly.

It would have been so easy for the writer to just give that "feat" to BP alone or even just Steve alone but to involve all of Wakanda and the HZ and such... thanks Mr. Orlando, you might get an invitation to the cookout lol.

Also another example of, in one issue, similar to RJ tie in, of T'challa directing a war event DIRECTLY, without being boring, and while still getting in on the action. If I had to guess, this wasn't Mr. Orlando's first comic he has written.

This should also tell marvel and reinforce to them that people don't want to see Coates sad sack version of T'Challa. That's not who he is. He ain't some mopey depressed character like Bruce, he is a confident borderline arrogant, somewhat paranoid prepmaster super genius, who did it first before bats and he is a leader of a nation of powerful warrior's
