How many tv shows or movies have we seen...
Fat and out shape or oddball white guys with HOT WOMEN. We had one (well three) shows.
King of Queens
Everybody Loves Raymond
Big Bang Theory (where smart black guys do NOT exist)
So Logan getting them all is not that farfetched.
T'Challa
A.K.A. The Black Panther
King of Wakanda
King of the Dead and The Champion of Bast
Two-Time Time Magazine "Person Of The Year"
Six-Time People Magazine "Sexiest Man Alive"
His mother stars on a tv show. So if it's good enough for Angela Bassett-it's good enough for Boseman.
Lets not forget how many folks with Oscars and huge box office success are doing tv shows.
Like Viola Davis. Will Smith & Cuba Gooding Jr. Anthony Mackie was doing a tv show while doing those movies.
As is Samuel L Jackson.
It's WORK.
I have never understood what is apparently so bad about "noble negro"?....Is it a crime for a black man to be honorable, wise, inspiring, exemplarily good, smart and even magical in some cases?!?
I will take noble negro every second of every day over loud mouth womanizing unfaithful bafoonish "spinning reems on a toaster" (quote from Chris Rock) thug.
Tchalla IS noble, has ALWAYS been noble and SHOULD ALWAYS remains noble.....he is the exemplar of nobility merged with high intellect and astute warrior spirit.
These are the defining PRIMARY FOUNDATIONAL TRAITS of his character. To change any of them would be out of characters and thus would NOT be Tchalla.
Noble negroes is a trope where they tend to sacrifice themselves for a white protagonist. And I am not sure T'Challa was being no le when he seemed to be making the moves on Sue Richards once upon a time. Or was it still Sue Storm?
Reality is for those who are afraid of science fiction.

Is that what we're talking about? 'Cause that's not T'Challa
Yes except on the last part he seemed to make the originators the allegory for black folk's whole the actual Black folk's became the colonizing West and thus paying reparations?
Dude was trying to lecture but couldn't do that right because he was too focused on tearing down Black folk's, pitting them against one another, and turning the one beacon of Hope and leading afrofuturist franchise into the wrist stereotypes of africa and black people... But you are right about the THIRST for Storm..
Dude be looking like donald duck
family guy
American Dad
How I met your mother
Young sheldon (big bang prequel)
The list goes on and on. Also noticed in shows such as big bang theory or how I met your mother, these characters are dating women who are way out of their league but seem to land one after another without fail.
The Honeymooners, the fat guy with a hot wife trope goes all the way back to the Honeymooners. Ralph Cramden was a fat, bumbling, scheming moron and he was lucky to have Alice. Without the Honeymooners, no Fred Flintstone, no Fred Flintstone,(Though I did like Mark Russel's version of Fred) no Homer Simpson, no Homer Simpson, no Peter Griffin, and so on so on so forth.
Oh yeah, I remember that. Sacasa wrote that (the guy in charge of Riverdale) He was kind of fixated on Sue. I do believe that retcon was when Reed and Sue were married. Lots of guys have come on to Sue over the years, and Reed, well, treated her like a husband in the 60's would.
So who should he hook up with that isn’t Storm? For long term flings it’s probably better to avoid major A-List superheroines since that runs the risk of repeating what happened with Storm. Wasp (Janet) is an example of someone where there could be a long term relationship with another superheroine since she’s not a major player and isn’t currently entangled with someone.
