I just realized there's an odd parallel between Black Panther and Nighthawk, because both are Marvel Batmen in a way.

As for the MCU, I still have no idea why BP2 needs an OC

Nighthawk Marvels Batman purpose on because he's part of Squadron Suprem. But Moonknight is closer to BM than BP.

As for the issue as a whole, Aaron does a really good job with T’Challa and Blade. The superhuman arms race is the only thing keeping this book interesting not only because T’Challa gets more focus but because you get complex storylines that have some weight to them. That scene of him with his dad was a nice touch and that rundown of how overworked T’Challa was is endearing.

But I like how we get hints he’s emotionally distant from his teammates like when he gets a bit of criticism from Ghost Rider. As much as I like BP competence porn the man’s been busy and one can’t help but think he’s due for a reckoning. Not in a bad Wakanda gets destroyed kind of way, but more he just cracks a bit under the pressure of carrying the entire team lol. Could be a nice character moment, but I also really liked his use of Wakanda to deal with all this geopolitics, that’s the type of stuff I wanna see in the next solo.
I'd prefer they stay as political rivals. Engaging in proxy wars around the world.

WHo knows, it is Aaron. Dude is so al over the place.

Could be something as gutpunching as wolverine accidentally butchering his illegitimate children or it could be as groundbreaking as T'challa drinking extra wakanda whiskey at night lol.

Doesn't Moon Knight have actual powers though? Not that BP and Batman are exactly alike either

When did robbie criticize him? Yeah I like Kyle and how he is being used, I would not mind him and Moses Magnum being imported to the franchise as reoccurring Characters.

I think Aaron showed just how much T'Challa can multitask and handle business. Honestly I Like how he runs the Avengers. It's a very distinct style completely different from any other leaders and I'm glad he was shown doing Chess Master moves. I dunno if he should crack under the pressure though. This is everyday stuff for him lol

T'Challa is like Batman 2.0 in every sense

They can still do that on the Solo too. It wouldn't have to be fisticuffs every time.

That's true. I was thinking more in his fighting style. I'm not as familiar with moon Knight

Having read the issue, all he really did was make a quip about T'Challa sometimes forgetting that people still needed to eat while offering Maya/Echo a sandwich. That said, I agree with chief12d that what's keeping me invested in Aaron's Avengers thus far is the superpowered geopolitical intrigue/arms race that might just break out into an outright superpowered world war.

I didn't say they were the same. I said T'Challa is basically a better version of Batman on every sense of the word. He is stronger, faster as he has powers, he's THE prep master before it became batman's thing. He is Richer, has better tech. And emotionally stable. H2h and super genius intelligence are probably the only things they are equal
