Yea Achebe is definitely due for a revival in this modern era. You make a good point how he’s basically T’Challa’s Joker and that Ridley may want to play with that. Technically Achebe did rule Wakanda at one point, he’d be aware of where Wakanda’s special agents were, all he’d need is the means to systematically take them out which could come from any number of sources. Really excited to see if he’s the villain of this first arc.

It would be really great if Achebe came back. I’d also want Madame Slay to come back since 616 Nakia is dead and Zenzi has fused with Bast. So I say bring back the OG femme fatale of T’Challas rogues gallery. Oh and give Zanda her powers from BP quest please and thank you.

It was funny listening to the Black Lightning showrunner say if he had another season, he would have introduced a “black joker” type as the villain. Meanwhile I’m like Black Panther beat you to the punch.

I got a sneaking suspicion that while the first BP broke records in a positive way for Marvel, the BP2 movies will break the string of well received hits from Marvel. I feel that quick package system that is going to be exposed in this particular instance, and I'm not shy in stating that I want it to. The decision, whoever made it was wrong and needs correcting.

People seemed to hate Captain Marvel and that made a billion.

Now they did change directors and shifted towards being more about "The Marvels" literally.

However, its possible they'll just look at this as an understandable misfire (if it happens. And to be clear I dont want it to happen.)

Death of lead, changes in script, rushed production, etc etc.

I really hope Ryan's got his 3rd act fight scenes properly planned out this time. Cause if not the 3rd act will be screwed as Marvel wont allow much last minute changes.

I'm still of the belief that Ryan/studio should have just rolled with whatever fight scene was previously shot. An average fight with good CGI is better than a good fight with poor CGI (at least in the theater)

If they're doing Namor then this is going to need some good-great sfx. I'm less concerned here because there is no Infinity War to prioritize most company resources to(which is why I believe BP's effects turned out the way they did) so there's no excuse as to why they can't fire on all cylinders here.

I also would like to think the backlash against the effects was so loud that both Coogler and Feige was aware of it and to not make that mistake again.

I will admit that if RDJ died between Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 that they probably would have just focused on Rhodey.

MCU is just too big to fail at the moment.

I will never understand this modern hesitancy with regards to recasting.

We the public are more informed than ever before. If an actor cannot perform a role, for whatever reason, we would know long before the next movie came out and would be prepared.

Boseman met with a tragedy beyond anyone's control, but not before giving us a success beyond what anyone thought possible. They really ought to try to continue with that success.
