T'Challa: The Black Panther Appreciation 2021

The only big deaths we've had in the MCU are:

- Stark: obvious

- Widow: pretty depressing really, really heavy, really memorable

- Yondu: really well done scene gave huge weight to the character

- Vision: low key dark AF, really heavy, really memorable

[- maybe Loki: dark AF, and the voices of 10 billion fangirls/boys cried in unison]

Hell, if you want, you can add Frigga to the list, since they had a whole ass funeral for her, in one of the best scenes in the MCU period.

That is a standard in the MCU for big deaths. (and no, QS, TAO, and whoever is introduced and killed in the same movie doesn't count, they were barely around)

I was thinking the same thing except on screen battle cape death is not what we would presumably get with BP.

I'm thinking more Peggy Carter- offscreen passing, somebody gets the alert of the news and takes off, with a grand funeral. Can't forget more U.N. as a probable catalyst. That's not gonna work for me if that's the case.

Yeah that would be stupid as frak. If your going to do a funeral for T'Challa (they shouldn't, on fact given how many "death's" he has had on screen, when his story arc was completed he should just retire and be King and not at all even hint at dying) the character deserves way better then some half assed ****. Or they could ya know, not freaking end his legacy
