I don't think so, I honestly think by the time it comes out internet memory will have kicked in and people aren't going to excuse it. Of anything they will start saying they should of waited or recast, or worse they will blame it on a black cast and the first was just luck. Which again, reinforces why they should of waited. Nothing about this movie drives hype or excitement. Just foreboding

Star Trek DS9 did not show the USS Enterprise during the Dominion War. The flagship of the fleet and most advance ship never mentioned.
K-9 tv show rarely mentioned Dr Who (mainly for legal reasons).
Knots Landing stopped mentioning Dallas after Jr getting shot was a dream.

Well now we will just have to wait for Ayo, Mbaku, Shuri, or Nakia to get a game green lit since Tchalla is gone.

Yea the branding for BP is gonna be interesting moving forward. For all the MCU legacies tbh. We're probably gonna get a several projects with Falcon as Cap, Jane as Thor, Shuri as BP, do they get a push in the non-MCU marketing like the animated shorts lol? Would Marvel invest in a AAA Black Widow game with Natasha if Yelena is your new Black Widow in the movies? I hope things don't change too drastically outside the MCU but it'll be interesting to see if there's a shift.

Either way I don't think we're ever getting a legitimate BP video game until we get a major black-owned video game studio that expresses interest in such a project. I don't suspect Disney would ever let Insomniac take on a BP game or any studio that isn't led by primarily black creators. They could let Miles slide because he's a legacy to a white guy but when they've made every conscious effort to have black talent behind the scenes of his live action stuff it seems unlikely they'd go in the opposite direction with gaming. Maybe I'm wrong but that's the vibe I get, the most I expect is DLC.

They could do something, anything with this, in Oakland, 6 eps. What if the kid who asks T'challa who he is is the focus?

I don't know, just thinking out loud I guess.

Hypothetically, if a Wakanda show did drop as a lead in to BP2, then yeah, it would have gotten people pumped for the sequel especially if it had the same strong reception Wandavision did.

MoM will be a big hit, but I mean having all Spidey's in 1 film is almost unprecedented. At this point, especially if the trailers are great, I'm inclined to believe No Way Home will be the biggest Phase 4 film.
