Its nothing directly BP related. However, seeing it made me realize why Feige isnt concerned about T'Challa. MCU is going to stay a juggernaut and they have something to use as representation thats going to be the face of the MCU.

Only way we are getting live action T'Challa is via a variant. I remember when some wanted Jonathan Majors as T'Challa. Welp..Kang is going to as big if not bigger than Thanos. So he'll have a black guy as one of the main faces of the MCU. Where BP/Wakanda seemed like the #1 or top 2 thing going forward he's going to deal with more multiverse stuff instead. Idk man...I was really excited by what I saw. And then realized that moving in this direction Feige isnt concerned about "leads" in films. The lead is now the multiverse. Best chance at T'Challa is a variant if he just wants to be nice

I don't really get wanting a "new multiverse" T'challa though.

You can't continue the arc from CW and BP1 because it is a different person. You'd have to have a whole other "prove yourself" arc because... why would Wakanda just accept an outsider as king?

Wanting a variant T'challa on the throne... you might as well just ask for MCU Wakanda be destroyed and put in a new variant Wakanda lol.

It is the continuation of "T'chadwick" or bust for me. I don't need a whole movie explaining who the variant is, getting the variant accepted, blah blah blah. I want the epic story for BP1 continued.

"MCU fans" and Feige will see Kang (with a black lead) as one of the biggest things in the MCU. Thats the plan.

Shuri can lead BP franchise. If she doesnt become as big as T'Challa...oh well. They've got a black male actor as one of the main focuses of the MCU.
