Surprised at how genuinely funny the Star Panther What If was.
D. Honsu was really hilarious.

I think this comes down to experience. Which can be honest with time. It's why input RJ over narcisse on terms of writing the Solo and say give narcisse some mini's to get better first.
I think T'Challas intelligence works best when he is bouncing off another character. He does this alot with Reed and Tony so it's a bit odd when he isn't shown doing the same with Shuri. Like are they afraid to offend people? I dunno but again of Shuri is talking techno babble I am fine so long as T'Challa is understanding, contributing, or at the very least, showing out in the field he understands and is doing ****, fully utilizing his Super genius. Or better yet, doing it how RJ showed on KiB
I'm gonna pass on the game. I didn't like that his moveset is centered around blocking when the other characters get big damage for doing nothing
Hawkeye and thor have brain dead gameplay, the highest damage and long rage but you have to play panther like its Sekiro. No thanks

As expected, he was far more competent than Quill as the Star-Lord.

So I broke my promise/oath of not watching What-If just because of my curiosity of seeing Chad's performance and boy was I in tears. Not only for the reason that I'm going to miss Chad as T'Challa but also for the reason that Marvel is potentially planning on making this character a footnote in the BP mythos and we might never see him again.
Something the writers got right. And also something that sort of held back the writers of BP because of the Russos.
T'Challa being away from his father at such a young age MAKES HIM DIFFERENT. Its that survival instinct, that ability to be more independent, the motivation to always plan ahead, etc etc.
Russos are what screwed T'Challa in that regard. BP just tried to make it make sense because growing up with his father all his life would make him different.
I dont feel the point was that he was a different person. O think the very idea they are communicating is if such a good man were able to have much more of a reach he could lead to great change for the better. TChalla being cooped up on Wakanda doesn't make him any less of a good man, but it limited his reach. And thats something the movie absolutely covered.
Here we see TChalla with no limits and they go to great lengths to show how much of an effect he had. Its like Yondu said, he can go anywhere and fit in and be a hero...
This was such an enjoyable episode. Boseman killed it, always gives his all. This episode should show you just how much of a har decision a recast would be. If literslg anyone else did even the voice in this episode, it wouldn't be the same. He made this character all his own and though I do want to see this character again I'm not sure how they can do it organically. But still.. this was a nice send-off if this is the last we see. I very much enjoyed it.
Didnt mean it as a totally different guy. I mean different as far as certain aspects about him were enhanced. He spent 20 years exploring so certain aspects about him are going to grow quickly. Just as being a king at a such a young age. He become the person he was always meant to be.
Also the fact he thought *died* that allowed for him to already overcome his grief, but still have the edge to push forward already.

So how do I get this Wakanda game? Buy the original Avengers game and then download the expansion? Sorry, I have played a video game since tge last if us 2 dropped on day one of release.
This is pain. He would have got the huge payday he deserved soon.

Chris Hemsworth has earned $20M for ‘THOR: LOVE & THUNDER’.
Another black actor probably would have got a huge payday in the role as well...which makes you wonder why the shareholders were ok with not recasting. No way Wright will ever command that kinda salary.
