Giving T'Challa's son the rest of T'Challa's story from the comics and having him taking over Black Panther is actually a BETTER idea than recasting. And I've been on board for on the recasting train for a LONG time.

They’re more than likely killing T’Challa off, they’re having his sister replace him (for a time at least) and they made Namor the villain. Giving T’Challa a child doesn’t seem that crazy given how much they’ve already shat on BP lore lol. I’m just surprised it’s a son tbh.

And this does further solidify Nakia as T’Challa’s main girl in the MCU which should take the winds out the sails of the comic BP-Storm romance. If this direction works it’s gonna be hard for the comics not to bring Nakia back in some capacity, with or without the child. Especially if they recast T’Challa down the line and commit to having a complete Wakandan Royal Family.

Im not gonna hold someone not liking something at one time against them forever.

I think the reality is Boseman died, Marvel still wanted their movie out, the cast (Angela/Lupita/Letitica) seemed against recasting as well and Ryan's been forced to make decisions that simply arent that appealing. Or at least the kind of decisions you make when you havent had a chance to grieve or properly plan.

Its not worth overreacting. However, it seems like there's something every week to ensure they really dont want T'Challa back.

Whether real or not it just confirms that someone the easiest idea is the best idea. Recast. Because rushing to get this movie leads to these crazy ideas having legs for people.
