I think it just shows that more and more people are coming around to a Recast, at first it was a small percent, but now it's gaining more support. People with bigger followings and the general vibe around the movie is pushing towards a more support for it. Time actually hurts Disney and marvel's stance on no recast, especially when Moore came out and said such a major decision was decided in mere minutes

I think (as some of you guys called it) it was too soon to even go to Coogler with moving forward. After he died there was a heavy pushback to recasting. And even I understood it at the time cause I felt the emotion as well. However, if they really just waited till summer they would have had a different perspective. As many have had as time passes. They should have pulled the movie off the slate immediately. Go on a hiatus until spring/summer and then see what is best.

And Im still confused how Feige, forget Coogler's opinion, could be so definitive on no T'Challa. There's no guarantee Ryan will even return for the 3rd movie. How could Feige not even present the option of doing the sequel during the snap/blip.

There literally had an out right then and there. Of course the Russos's **** with T'Challa/Wakanda once more by killing Shuri as well so they probably felt trapped. But still Feige easily could have just set the movie before Engame.

Even then they could’ve easily retconned Shuri to being a survivor of the snap since we never actually saw her get dusted like we did with T’Challa.

Apparently they do to Disney and Marvel Studios which is why we're in this mess in the first place

I only had to go off of stories from you guys about how toxic things got in the aftermath of Avengers vs X-Men. It’s almost as if Marvel loves toxicity.

If you thought UNFANS came running in here to take shots at T'Challa was bad under Coates-image how bad it was after Namor's antics. Folks wanted him to FINISH the job.

In all REALITY-they do NOT. Because they give the toxic fandom a huge venue to be toxic behind closed doors.

Yet we have seen too many pander to them to various levels of disaster.

    You don't see the following-

    The Inhumans
    Sam Alexander with his powers
Rey, Finn & Poe (no new merchandise with them since the last movie. 3 billion made and Disney acts like those guys don't exist. Way worst than what has been done to T'Challa who made a billion and won 3 Oscars)
That is pandering to toxic behavior.

Marvel and Disney pandered to that group that claims Shuri is bigger than her brother and Wakanda does NOT need him.
Now ask yourself this-how many on Twitter are buying Shuri's novels?

NONE are in the top 200 of books for kids or children. Guess who is??? Miles Morales is number ONE. Guess who is number two? BLACK PANTHER 3 different titles.
For Marvel Super Heroes? BLACK PANTHER.
For Super Hero teens? Nubia, Miles, Moon Girl and BLACK PANTHER
For Young Adults comics and novels? RIRI WILLIAMS and the ULTRA HATED I Am Not Starfire.
    For Kindle-BLACK PANTHER

Now if T'Challa does not matter.... why does every book starring him are beating Shurl's books? Even the pre orders for Ridley's Panther trade are beating hers.

Sales say Wakanda and Black Panther are T'CHALLA. Marvel is acting like they don't see it.

And it's NOT like Marvel is NOT producing stuff with her.
She has 7 new books coming out (1 this month) in 2022. 1 is old stuff.
T'Challa has 8. 6 are releases of old CRAP mainly from Coates. New stuff is Ridley and that other mini series.

One of her books is ENDORSED by teachers in Amazon. Aside from her and Into Spiderverse-no other Marvel book is there. DC is not there at ALL.

Yet Twitter screams she has to be in the suit. When all her new material says she is FINE the way she is.

That is why you recast-T'Challa not bury him. Shuri is fine by herself. Because the book side is building her up and she is selling as herself. The paying public wants her as Shuri and T'Challas as Panther.

Man can you imagine a Black Panther game running on this engine? Just imagine what Birnin Zana or the techno jungle could look like.

I can just see Man-Ape being the most searched or the most trending word in all social media platforms if this turns out legit.

I think now, again as more time passes, that crowd is getting smaller and the Recast crowd is getting bigger. This ties also into how Letitia is acting. Plus the team Shuri crowd is being put into a bind because they can't say recast Letitia for Shuri while simultaneously saying no recast to T'Challa. It makes them onto hypocrites because they were so loud about passing the torch to Shuri. So for them to say it's ok to recast her but not T'Challa hurts their argument. And the more time it takes for the production the worse it gets for the entire movie. If they were smarter, they would be using this time to find a person to carry the baton for Chad and continue T'Challas story.
