X-Men election winners predictions

So the latest news, only left for the last position in new X-men team:Polaris, Cannonball, Banshee, Sunspot.

Who are the other might be beside Jean grey and Cyclops?

My best guess is Jean, Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine & Polaris.

Unless Storm and Wolverine have been stated to not be part of the new team and I haven't caught wind of that. I know Storm is taking a leave from the Marauder book.

Storm is not allowed since she's on the Quiet Council. Jean can only be on the team since she was already kicked off the council in XoS.

I stand by what I wrote in January. Since this is a vote/popularity contest, the most likely winners are Wolverine, Rogue, Angel, Dazzler, and Magik based on name recognition among the citizens of Krakoa. These are the people who are eligible who everyone knows and respects, the names every mutant knows off the top of their heads. Next comes people like Beast and Havok, who have name recognition from their time with the Avengers - plus Havok being Cyclops' brother, but that name recognition isn't all positive.

There are more then a few citizens of Genosha resurrected and otherwise that are on the island right now.

I wouldn't expect much from this team member no matter who wins. The role was apparently small enough it could have gone to any of them without changing too much despite how different Sunspot is from Polaris is from Tempo is from Strong Guy.

I think the Marrow/Armor clip said the winner has both offensive and defensive capabilities.

Just because he's in a book doesn't mean that Marvel thinks highly of him, his team is basically made up of the screwups, the ones that the others are worried about and take care of the crap that the others don't want to touch...
