But does Diana leave the island in those books? The question posed was

Tempest Tossed: Diana saves shipwrecked refugees, which leaves her caught outside of Themyscira's magical barrier. She arrives in Greece as a refugee. Steve only makes an appearance after she's been there for a few weeks.

Warbringer: Alia (the secondary protagonist) is saved by Diana after a bomb detonates on her ship. They both leave Themyscira when Alia's presence destroys the island's balance.

True Amazon: Diana is exiled to Man's World after a tragedy she caused.

Lol, yeah. Took me a while to get through the book because my reaction after the first few pages was to place it aside for four years. I bought it during my first WW haul. It certainly wasn't what I expected and at that time I wasn't ready for a deconstructed Diana.

I like the black parts. I've seen some similar designs that use red or blue and makes it seem like too much of one or the other.

No, no no!!!! Please do not do this to us!!! That is so awesome...but it reminds me of how Diana still has not gotten her own animated show and it makes my heart break!!!!

ETA: saw the artist's work on Batman and Superman, and I thought, "Jeez, DC/WB...if you are not giving Diana the solo animated show that she deserves, can she at least star in a Trinity animated series???"
Anyway, I liked that the artist used Dua Lipa as inspiration for Diana, which I love because, to me, Dua looks like Gal Gadot's younger sister (are you listening, Warner Bros. Pictures??)

Gonna be honest: as much as I can see the amazing technical talent of Hughes, his art always leaves me cold. His Wonder Woman, in particular, has everything that turns me off about comic book depictions of women.

I like Hughes but I’m the same way with Yanick Paquette on the Earth One series so I get the feeling.
