I have issues with Zack Snyder's vision for the DCU but introducing her as a museum curator who is actually immortal was actually a good idea if you are introducing her in an ensemble. It gives you something grounded to work with before delving into her origin.

Even the naive runaway princess angle could have worked if they used it to build her up and introduce more of her mythology. They mention Hippolyta wearing the suit prior to Diana but never actually show it. Not even the WW2 episode. There were missed opportunities to have her interact with Etrigan and Aquaman, since there are interesting parallels between Diana and those two characters.

Yeah, I like Wonder Woman without a secret ID but having her workout of a museum I actually thought was a decent update to the concept if she were to have one.

I actually thought her bits with Steve in the WW2 episode were actually when they got some bits right with her and mythos.

Zack is great with overall mythology, its just execution that generally fails. Id love to see Diana as a museum curator be introduced into the comics. Its also something that would help her come across ancient artifacts that lead to confrontation with supernatural forces.

Who was the RL model for wonder woman?

Yeah, I like Wonder Woman without a secret ID but having her workout of a museum I actually thought was a decent update to the concept if she were to have one.

I actually thought her bits with Steve in the WW2 episode were actually when they got some bits right with her and mythos.

I agree. That ending scene with her meeting old Steve was touching and if you are doing WW2 WW then that was the best way to do it. The romance happened very quickly but I could buy those two falling for each other. She respected him because he was a warrior risking his life and he was attracted to a woman stronger than him. JLU Trevor was miles better than 2009 movie Trevor, that's for sure.

For H.G. Peters designing her look? Don't think any name has ever come up. Seeing some of his non-WW artwork, I think he used some of his own previous designs for women and built off from there. I know it's a popular fan belief that Marston's wife and mistress also served as an inspiration for WW.

For Perez's WW, I think he's said in interviews he used Marina Sitris.
