Troia didn't become Wonder Girl until after 2010 in the first place though so it's probably a situation where she was born in 1941 but was taken to Themyscira and just straight up didn't age or didn't age normally until something happened that brought her to Man's World or brought Themyscira itself to Man's World.

Since her name is Troia idk if she was born in mans world.
They're probably going with the magical twin origin.
The show seems to skirt around a lot of NTT concepts; no Raven, no Starfire, only exception is Cyborg and they've stuck firmly with his post Nu52 take. Donna's origin was a huge part of NTT but not on the show even after they got clearance to use her here.
YJ is on its own Earth, with it's own continuity, so that makes sense

At the end of the YJ episode, Supes was talking about putting together a League reserve team. I'm hoping they include Troia in that, since we've seen her.
On a different note: always loved the red jumpsuit design for Donna. It really pops. I also love the current black design with the white/silver stars when it's drawn with the stars that go all the way up (sort of mimicking the red jumpsuit star pattern). I think Donna looks great in black and it kind of gives her a distinctive look within the Wonder Family.
The name doesn't really mean anything. Her classic origin is that she was found as a toddler (or even an infant) in a fire; the fact that she even had a name that Wonder Woman (or Rhea or whoever) knew is silly in itself.
Either way, it's not like we're going to ever find out, and we can all speculate about it, but personally the timing of it all doesn't work for the mirror twin origin to me. It's also the worst one, so... fingers crossed that isn't it.
*edit*
Looking a little more into it, Diana was born in 1925. Meaning that she would've been 16 when Donna was born - which was also the same year that she became Wonder Woman. Diana went back to Themyscira in 1946 when Troia would've been no older than five, it's likely that she found Troia/Donna then and took her back to Themyscira with her. And even if she did know her name was Donna, Troia could be her Amazon name.

During Gail Simone's run on Wonder Woman, on the island Donna referred to herself as "Troy". Other writers have picked up on this including Orlando and various Amazons refer to her as "Troy". It's quite possible that the Amazons named her Troy and Donna was the Americanized name she adopted when arriving in Man's World, which would give her Donna Troy, similar to Diana Prince. Donna didn't actually start referring to herself as Donna Troy until the original Teen Titans when the Titans helped her get her own apartment way back in TT #62 1969. It's my theory that when she took up residence in Man's World, she adopted an Americanized name, Donna, to fit in better and give her a secret identity, much like her sister, Diana.
In YJ continuity, it's possible that something similar occurred. Amazons named her Troia, which is the female version of Troy.
