Is DC going to let every artist who works on the character reinterpret her look? I’m not sure it serves her to not have a signature.

It's a nice costume....but it doesnt make any sense for Nubia or an Amazon. She looks like a regular old superhero. Where's anything showing she's an Amazon, from Paradise Island?

Black and Gold isn't completely in continuity so they are free to try out different things. Nubia suffers from being undefined that I can see them trying out different looks until they settle one that works.

Personally, I think Joelle Jones has nailed it with the blue dress but I don't mind Nubia having alternate costumes.

Sure if she isnt an Amazon at all thats fine. But if she is....I think no matter the continuity it feels wrong.

I really like this costume and colors used. But I am not sure that it is a good fit (no pun intended) for Nubia.
