I take it from the Anniversary special that in current "continuity" Nubia is no longer Diana's twin sister? It seems they're sticking closer to the Post-Crisis version, which I don't really like.
I'd have preferred if she was made from clay by Phillipus on the same night as Diana. But since not even Diana gets to keep the clay origin, that wasn't likely to happen.
IIRC, L L McKinney who wrote 'Nubia: Real One' wrote her Nubia stories under the condition that Nubia is Diana's twins in her take.
The writer of Nubia's upcoming mini has said they're going in a different direction hinting at her Post Crisis origin but we don't know the details yet.
I suspect that Diana's clay origin will be restored sooner rather than later.
