I like WonderBat, especially in the Vandal Savage episode. Though I can't see them ending up with together, I like them being flirty and going on a Bond movie like adventure together. Plus Diana caught Bruce off guard by figuring out his secret identity on her own.
I'm curious who do you guys feel best understood Diana and Steve's relationship best? One idea I often had is maybe Steve had to go through trials to gain the Amazons truth. That it's not just his relationship with Diana but also him has a warrior

I'm assuming you're talking about writers? Marston and Rucka in his second are the obvious answers I guess. Tim Seeley didn't good with the Steve Trevor one shot he did.
For adaptations, the first WW movie and Bloodlines also. The parts where he showed up in the DCAU were also good but that still has the Batman schoolgirl crush as the major defining thing of that incarnation, so major asterix mark.
