Liam Sharp is the artist from Rucka's arc The Líes.

Thanks!! I love his art, I think he also illustrated the Batman/Wonder Woman story in which they investigated the death of an Irish deity (?)...

Oh yeah the astonishing The Brave and The Bold!

I like the depiction of Steve in the Rucka's run, in the past cute, soft and hairless and in the present, hairy macho style...

    Thanks for sharing those scans!!
Do they still print DC and/or Marvel comics translated to Spanish? When I was a kid I remember reading many Spanish-language Wonder Woman comics that were translated versions published by a Mexican imprint (Editorial Novaro):

Yes, comics are still printed in español, I believe that since the 90's without interruption, ECC is the publisher in Spain that prints the most about DC, hence OVNI Press in Argentina, Salvat for some collections, Planeta de Agostini, etc.
In the case of Wonder Woman, there are almost no individual comics like those published in the US, but compilations.
The most published stage of Wonder Woman in Spanish is the Azzarello's run, we have the singles, collections, omnibus, sagas, like no other.
The other that was very successful is the Rucka's rebirth run, also published individually and hardcover compilation volumes.

    IE
    Hardcover coleccionable (10 books)
    WW_Coleccionable.jpg
    Omnibus (1 book)

    Hardcover collection (6 books)

How old do you think of Steve as when he met Diana? If you don't think of Diana as thousands of years old, how old do you think she was?

For Steve, he seems like quite the young man to me in Rebirth. For the golden age: per a quick search on Newspapers.com, an article indicated a 25-almost-26 year old was among the youngest of Captains in the late 1942.

I don't know if we got any firm numbers in either era - just can't recall. But perception doesn't always match evidence, anyway. How do you perceive it?

Our fictional heroes are generally exceptional, so if the youngest on record was 25, they'd probably put him at 23-24 and I think that's fair for a WW2 Steve.

In Perez's reboot, Diana is supposed be around 18-20ish while Steve I think was in his mid-to-late 40s.

I think I read somewhere Rucka characterized Diana (I don't think he gave a hard age for her) as also somewhere in the 18-20ish age range. Steve I read as maybe in his mid-20s.

Yeah post crisis Wonder Woman was definitely the age she appeared to be. In other eras there was no reason to believe Diana was older than she appeared, apart from that one Kanigher story where Diana built the boat that the amazons used to find Paradise Island. Even that story ended up being ignored by every other writer though.

In Rebirth, I remember is some article that Rucka said Diana was 18 when she left Paradise Island. So I assume Steve is like, 20 at that time since he’s green as grass.

Golden Age, I always saw Steven and Diana as early to mid 20’s but I don’t have any proof of that.

I do like the growth you see in the character.

I've always loved Diana/Steve together. I wish we'd seen (I dont recall if we did) Steves reaction to Diana being "dead"

Oh wow, just occurred to me to we haven't seen the reaction from him either. Or any of WW's cast outside of some of the Amazons.

Couldn't have at least had a scene of Etta or Steve at the end of Death Metal.

Has Steve been used in recent issues? And it's odd that they don't have either reacting to her death at all.

Wonder given WW84 if we're going to see more with Steve in it or if Steve is done in the DCU?

He broke up with her because she didn't clock in for his daily snog. I'm sure he died and came back four times, lost his shirt 27 times, and has since been retconned into an old man again in the twenty issues he's been missing in her own book.

I joke, but I don't think Steve has time to grieve over her with how much he degraded since Greg and Liam left the book. He basically just whined a lot about Diana not having time for him. One can only hope the current team have better plans for him, and to their credit, so far they've had great ideas for everyone else.
    May we never forget:
