AEW is catching **** for partnering with Susan G Komen. They pulled the tweet and the planned merch.

As embarrassing as that is… the fact they reacted by pulling the merch and tweet still shows a greater savviness with their base than other companies.
Like action, adventure, rogues, and outlaws? Like anti-heroes, femme fatales, mysteries and thrillers?

I wrote a book with them. Outlaw’s Shadow: A Sherwood Noir. Robin Hood’s evil counterpart, Guy of Gisbourne, is the main character. Feel free to give it a look: https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asi...E2PKBNJFH76GQP

Tony Khan is apparently a Vince Sr fan, not a fan of Vince Jr.
Along with Impact, AEW has also formed working relationships with New Japan, AAA and the NWA. Khan explained the strategy behind those relationships in an interview with Jonathan Hood last month.

"Vince Sr was really cooperative," Khan said. "He booked Andre (The Giant) out all over the country. He would work for AWA and would go to Mid South and work in Houston. Wrestling was much more collaborative before the mid-80s and it was actually one person that made the business less collaborative. I'm trying to bring some of that spirit back. When Vince Sr was running the New York territory, it was a much more collaborative thing," said Khan.

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

Big rumor coming out from AEW that they are moving forward with a plan to move the Good Brothers in a stable with Deeb and either have Punk or Scherr emerge as the "secret" leader.

    Straight Edge Society 2.0??

I'm kinda shocked how good the show was.

Edge/Rollins was fantastic--especially for a match up I was really bored with.

Triple Threat Women's was also fantastic.

The right King and Queen won.

Not really a single bad match on the card. (Doudrop/Zelina was average but not a stinker)

Oh please, if it were WWE you would just be criticising them non stop and not praising their "greater savviness". Criticise AEW too.

Well ... when WWE does something tone deaf, they try to sweep it under the rug then roll it months or years later out in a new way pretending it never happened in the first place.

AEW said, "Hey, we fucked up. Sorry. Let's fix it." And addressed it timely.

AEW took their lumps and addressed it.

WWE was criticized for their partnership with Komen but didn't address it. They partnered with them for years knowing their dirty history.

Tell you what, when AEW manages to kill one of their wrestlers via coercing them into a poorly-planned stunt, I'll be happy to take them to task.

Adam Scherr (Braun) will go by "The Titan” Adam Scherr at least on Impact.
