Starting to see rumblings that Dunne is on a Black contract (non-compete clause is not in it) and will be leaving shortly.

Sounds like somebody screwed up the contracts!

"This is awesome" for Juvi vs Jericho?...hell no, it was far from awesome, in fact it was disappointing for this Labors thing. Should have went with something else IMHO. Cage or ladder match maybe.

I want to like The Blade more, he has a good look physically and a cool aesthetic/gimmick, and he gets good heat as a heel, but he's like a wrestler from the 80s (not in a good way)....all punch, kick, clothesline, suplex, bodyslam, and like very little else. His in ring skills just aren't enough for me for now to want to be more invested in him. Just because heels aren't supposed to outwrestle faces doesn't mean heels should have so thin a moveset or so little talent in the ring. I don't think much of Christian as a (singles) wrestler (though he has had one or two strong AEW matches I admit), but he looks like Angle/Benoit/Eddie compared to Blade.
i thought juvi vs assclown turned out good, just short of great by the end. idk how much of it is a shoot or WERK but jericho looked like he's been dragged through the gutter which is the whole point. i actually wouldn't mind seeing juvi again assuming he behaves himself. maybe put him in a team with somebody.

bucks been wearing those 2 piece deals and cutler the jumpsuit since before rumors of punk and rotunda's release. bucks just going for max douchage and cutler going for the japanese "young-boy" look.

jr made another great call claiming mjf would be the ref for the next labor of jericho match confusing everybody.

josh alexander vs black tarus at the last ppv was great, and i'd bet alexander vs jake is going to be more of the same. they should've used ethan page as a mouthpiece for alexander and pushed him into the main event scene before ethan left.

That brings the total to 42 wrestlers and 50 employees in 2021.

They can afford to pay all those ... So something is up if you're gonna can nearly 100 people in 100 days ...

At this point, the far more interesting options are stuff like selling the company or overhauling their business model to a less wide-ranging tourism (like having it primarily based in Vegas).

The most boring option would be Khan and Vince having convinced themselves the brand is now so successful on its own, that they’re turning against the entire concept of superstars that aren’t products of their system, and are expressing some of their distaste with NXT as a developmental brand they see as limited in that role and as a third brand that couldn’t defeat AEW when it “should” have.
Like action, adventure, rogues, and outlaws? Like anti-heroes, femme fatales, mysteries and thrillers?

I wrote a book with them. Outlaw’s Shadow: A Sherwood Noir. Robin Hood’s evil counterpart, Guy of Gisbourne, is the main character. Feel free to give it a look: https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asi...E2PKBNJFH76GQP

Bronson Reed is the biggest shocker, he was scheduled to be called up there for a while.

I'd be upset we never got reDRagon on the main roster, but Vince doesn't care about tag teams so it would have been horrible anyway.

Yeah, there's obviously something we don't know that the guys behind the scenes are seeing.

No matter the situation, it's extremely unusual for any organization to release that many "staff" in such a short period of time.

They'd be good in ROH and AEW.

That might spell the end of Adam Cole's negotiations with WWE since they are all buddies in the back.

Couple of things are starting to come out:

    - Alba is saying this isn't a company hurting for money. It's not a company going out of business. It's actively landing record rights deals. Cuts are by choice. Not force. They are looking to overhaul development. Looking to run NFL style "dark contracts" with a "you stick through it, you stay" mentality.
    - Cuts came during Smackdown. Several staff were let going during the show.
    - Staff and wrestlers are saying the work culture is getting very toxic. NXT talents called up are on edge 24/7. Same with marketing and production staff.
    - Marketing is livid and wants more notice on releases.
    - 2K has informed WWE that WWE2K22 will be majority delayed due to the cuts. They have said nearly 70% of the renders and new scans are being tosses due to the releases.
    - several 2k employees are considering asking to drop the project because WWE has been impossible to work with.
-merchandise is going crazy trying to keep up with everything week to week and several walked out after making new Bray and Bryan merch. They were listed has released.
    - Tony Kahn has not reached out to Cole he said so himself but has "feelers" on released talent.
    - One talent, Bronson, has been working RAW and Smackdown dark matches to prep for his debut.
    - Many feel they are punishing these talents for not beating AEW on Wednesdays and that NXT is a "dead" brand.
