Actually Carmella vs. acting-GM Sonya would probably be a really good feud.

Can Sonya carry Carmella? No slight to Sonya. But, that is a heavy lift to start, even assuming she has not been away for 6 months.

I would rather see Sonya against Naomi. But, if they need to make Sonya a face (which is stupid, but likely), team her with Naomi against... I dunno. Maybe team her with Lana?


Sasha, Ripley, maybe Bianca against Carmella? (Actually, no. That would be a waste of talent in all 3 cases.).

I said it months ago the WWE World title should be a floating champion who defends against challengers from brands (Smackdown/RAW) , US/IC can be kept as upper card belts for both brands and Cruiserweight champion can float between all 3 brands (NXT included) .

I think the roster is to big for just one word title.

Intercontinental (men/women)
Tag team (men/women)
Weekly television (men/women)

All belts could be used on any brand. Weekly television would be exclusive to television, letting the other belts be used sparingly.

They really need to parse down.

The World champions (men / women / men & women tags) can all move around. No need to draft.

IC (Smackdown), US (RAW), Cruiser or NA (NXT) can stay on a brand. With wrestlers getting smaller and more athletic, as much as I love a good junior division, I would go with the NA. Initially, I was for cruiser. IF the women's division keeps getting bigger than the cruiser, I would consider a secondary singles title for the women. And if that happens, I would put them all on their own brand.

IMHO tertiary belts are a giant waste of time if you truly plan to run a tag team division, as that makes all secondary belts tertiary. Those belts then become gimmicky (hardcore, 24/7, TV, etc.) or props that people carry around. When somebody walks in with a belt, it should be a big deal. When 6-8 people ON ONE SHOW have a belt ... it cheapens all the others.

And that's not even getting into the storyline crutches they create ...
