That couldn't be any more of a different situation.
What is wild is ...weeks ago in a Steve Austin podcast . Jeff Hardy detailed that he was offered rehab in 2003/2004 and was being stubborn. And refused to do it then. Its wild this same situation would repeat years later.

RIP Blackjack Lanza.
I could not find a match not on the Network as WWE owns 100% of Blackjack's library ... but this match is not on there. It's a fun little match during their feud with Heenan and his goons. So ...
Beastie's Match of the Day (technically) Not On A Network

Here was the Steve Austin spot months ago where he detailed how he refused rehab the 1st time.

Basically, the wrestling community needs to temporarily cancel performers who are having substance abuse issues--we the fans have enabled it far too much.
Jeff Hardy needs to clean up.
No responsible wrestling promotion should take him on until that's the case.
Jeff Hardy definitely needs rehab to perform in-ring again at least. I hope Kurt Angle contacts Jeff, he might be able to help him and have rapport and credibility with him. Angle has a history with both the substance abuse and rehab parts.

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft
Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”
How about if AEW signed Jeff Hardy on the condition that he complete rehab before he does any promos, TV appearances or matches?
Watching television is not an activity.
Impact has new owners and people running things behind the scenes (Callis and D'Amore I believe). This isn't Dixie Carter who is gonna take Jeff Hardy at his word and bring him in I'm sure. I can see them doing what Khan should. 1st you do rehab , then we bring you in.

Yeah I don't see either Impact or AEW picking up Jeff Hardy until he cleans up his act.
