Felt like punishment booking to me. Wardlow was going over but I expected a more competitive match.

They should focus on booking Punk properly as a champion. They made that mistake with Page and they shouldn’t make it again (the focus was on the end of the Page/Omega feud and not what came after). Long term booking is good but over-predictability is not.
Also, given MJFs recent behavior they should hold off on putting any titles on him (if what he was doing wasn’t work).
That IMO will be rewarding bad behavior.

I don't know about MJF winning the title, but he should definitely be Punk's next opponent, possibly after a rematch with Hangman Page. I certainly see MJF waving off Wardlow, saying he has bigger things to deal with now, like settling unfinished business with Punk. Originally Posted by choptop
