Why would he? That line was specifically to foreshadow for 5G's Damian becoming Leviathan in the comics. So unless Damian is also showing up in this and also becoming Leviathan, I doubt it makes it in.

Well, at least with the Legion you expect an all-econmpassing cast of a lot of characters so that would probably be more his speed.

True, although between the two I feel like I'd trust Weisman with an expansive cast over Bendis, but Bendis probably won't be concretely writing for this.

Because perpetuating the stereotype that bisexuals are promiscuous is totally a good look for DC to do with their hot new bi character. Which is exactly why Bendis and whoever else is in the writers room will do it. It's such a low hanging fruit, it's irresistible to those types of people.
