Beautiful artwork and a great way to show how much both characters mean to each other. I didn't figure this would have been one of the better books out of FS given my trepidation due to the wonder woman dead earth storyline.

Also is it me or would this have been a more fitting end to the Nu 52 version of these characters rather then the rebirth version? It's just something feels off about the SM/WW dynamic since rebirth, like someone at DC is making sure moments like those above don't happen in the day to day comics.

The artwork was beautiful.
I think it would’ve benefited a little more with another issue or two.

Honestly, yeah as much as I miss new52 Kal and Diana and wish they had a proper “end” or of course I would much prefer them to have continued, no matter what versions used Kal and Diana are suppose to have that special bond respected and shown. Like I said, it’s very ambiguous. But majority really leans more to the romantic aspect because of the monologue. And just these few pages invokes so much emotion and talk be it celebratory or debate. Either way, it’s something that grabbed the attention and there are fans that WILL support.

Rebirth versions feel off because of how they came about. Part of it was to desolve Clark and Diana’s overall relationship. It was antagonistic, distant and cold. There was just no investment there with the intentional pointless souring of it all.

As I’ve said many times, DC could’ve had a line of Superman/Wonder Woman statues dedicated to couples. The new52 statue has been used for even wedding cake topper. Of course with companion comics. So much being left on the table smh

Superman and Wonder Woman should be the most diverse characters. I love these designs. Yet again, DC is leaving so much on the table.

LOL! The idea is there and yeah so so close! But come on, need to do better. It’s pretty much the same as SM and WW a so called combined family with editorial but still so far separate. It’s on the wheel spinning if counterproductivity again.

I miss the New 52 days, the fandom was extremely active everywhere and there was so much content coming out regularly back then. There was Yahoo Groups, Google Plus, DeviantArt, Tumblr, etc. to discuss with other fans all the time. These days the Facebook group seems to be the closest thing to this and while I enjoyed that group and the people in it I really don't want to deal with constantly checking that platform just to interact with our community. I hope SM/WW couple gets another push soon so maybe it'll spur the creation and activity of more groups like those again.

The way things have gone about has soured so much. It was way too much toxicity. The way new52 ended and the message of if you liked this you aren’t a true real fan. Or the Real Superman is back, the back and forth on sales etc etc... it just soured so many. Then the step further to say it was all lies and never happened and everything in regards to Superman and Wonder Woman even their friendship was wiped out. Yeah, it was so much more off putting than anything. Some of us are still trying to hold hope...but not sure. It’s too messy, toxic, antagonistic still. None of all that was worth it given the state DC is in now.

It’s ironic that I believe the art dedicated to the artist’s wife was posted a day before or the day the Superman reboot was announced. DC/WB obviously wants BP audience. If that’s so, it can’t be half-assed. Make it worth it. BP was truly genuine in showcasing respect for black culture and especially black women. Earth 23-President Superman is based on Obama. If this is also a way to introduce Nubia, that earth’s Nubia is based on Beyoncé easily go for Michelle Obama. It’s like the ideas are there, it’s not that hard and writes themselves.

These two ... how Warner and DC fail to see the potential for greatness in a movie with them?! Cavill is the modern incarnation of the Clark / Kal figure while Gadot is well accepted as Diana (I have my reservations with her but here I surrender to the majority). And look, I’m not even talking about a loving potential (it would be a dream and it would double the success but I don’t even ask for it now) ... sometimes I find myself wondering if DC doesn’t want to invest in it because it would overshadow everything else they has, including the golden egg bat, which by the way already shows some minimal signs of fatigue in the area of comics.

There isn't also much of an investment on them individually, I guess this is the root of the problem of SM/WW as a duo/couple.

It's a risky move and it has to be done right. Calvin and Nubia as President and First Lady would be fantastic after all the fan-arts of Obama and Michelle as SM/WW, lol. But I think WB is just going to racebend good ol' Clark Kent. Anyway, if they are rebooting SM, a new WW shouldn't be far behind.
