Idk, mixing old & new? Traditional characters are left unchanged and share the spotlight with new ones?

It’s counterproductive like everything else. The general audience is only exposed to the main traditional characters. The new ones aren’t a guarantee to catch the audience and really especially now with the lack of true effort of creativity. Neither is really getting the effort needed.

CW seems will be the place for non "main traditional characters", but it's not a big exposure over there. Movies aren't going with the legacy route anytime soon because unlike Marvel, they'll reboot and start over if a character is done.
