Wonder Woman: Love Interests She Could Have In The DCEU (Who Aren't Steve Trevor)

Superman

They rarely ever interact in the DCEU, but in the comics, Superman and Wonder Woman were a couple for quite some time. It was a controversial move for many fans since Superman and Lois Lane are such an iconic couple, but Wonder Woman and Superman dating also makes sense.

They're in many ways similar, both have godlike powers, are inherently good and their primary desire is to help people. They even got married and had children in some alternate realities. It's unlikely the DCEU will hint at this couple but it wouldn't be as far-fetched as some might think. Plus, Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill are also close in age, Gadot is 35 and Cavill is 37, so at least age-wise, the relationship could work.

I love Gadot's WW, but at this point its pretty much the only good thing about the current DCEU. So its to the point now I just want the continuity to die so they can start over. Alas, maybe the two could have had some chemistry were they allowed any time to get to know one another, but its a ship well sailed, imo. Maybe next incarnations.

I would be disappointed if the current incarnations of SM/WW will be over without a "course correction" of their lack of interaction. I'd like to see a more tangible connection between them than vague SM homages in the WW movies. lol.

SMWW has the history. There is obvious interest of the pair. The branding etc etc...
. At this point... idk...it’s a lot of missed opportunities and so much time has been wasted. We all would like for proper interaction and respecting the source material but then again even the source material is being revamped to not making sense and very little interaction. We see though, rip offs are taking advantage and succeeding
