Whether it’s anniversaries, weddings or engagements, used as wedding cake topper or Christmas ornament, “The Kiss” statue is still one of the best and most popular and significant couple statue. As said before, SMWW has so many lovey doves images that can be uses for a line of SMWW statue collection line.

It seems during the 1960s, many readers had natural inclination towards Superman and Wonder Woman as a "team". And, seeing how the idea never died, well, the rest goes without saying.

One reader is happy to see Superman and Wonder Woman as a team again. The other finds them boring because it's been done too much, this reader also mentions "romantic readers". so it's clear . Which is very interesting question; does Superman and Wonder Woman lose the appeal if it's done too much or with a lack of creativity? In my view, pairings like Superman and Wonder Woman needs a dedicated team (or writer) to get it right. I digressed, this brings me to my point. If by any chance Superman could've appeared more during the original All-Star Comics run, do you guys think the readers of the of the 1940s would've been open to Superman and Wonder Woman?

First thing is understanding the perspective of not only the dynamic, but Kal and Diana as individuals. Kal and Diana are the most “human” characters yet so extraordinary. They are still very much “outsiders” to their respective worlds that should be explored and acknowledged more than glossing over, shying away from and/or making it seem like a bad thing. One writer that understand the outsider perspective was Charles Soule being an immigration lawyer. He had that experience to sympathize and understand the complexities. Their worlds can seamlessly join together and challenge each other. There is far too much potential creating something new and unique with the combination of their myths to ever get boring. It’s all up to the creativity and commitment of the writer for sure.
Their general dynamic together should always be partners/best friends with obviously underlying feelings…eventually leads to more. Slow burn sorta thing.
Once that’s established you can honestly have smww in any era time period.

Currently? No. Patty Jenkins rekindled Diana and Steve. WB doesn't seemed interested in the pairing, outside of the occasional merch. It'd take one successful book to change it. I don't think anyone at DC is interested in that. The writers who probably were doesn't work at DC no more.

They have no dynamic now.

That’s why there’s not much investment. All this talk about “relationships” and “dynamics” missing in new52 yet, it was a new world to reestablish and rebuild… yet, they aren’t much better now when the purpose of rebirth was to bring it back. It’s all empty really.

For how long the KC aesthetics will keep being adapted in mediocre products that has nothing to do with the original? 🤨

Until they screw around so much, they end up making the story itself seem mediocre or something. There’s so much established on that earth that can be explored, why not?

Everything would've been tossed again for the aborted 5G reboot, this is how the previous regime operated. Do you ever heard DiDio talking about the Rebirth initiative? It makes you wonder why he bother to pitch it outside of justifying another line wide reboot.

The business mindset is there is no business mindset, it’s really just thrown stuff at the wall and see if it sticks. This is what the multiverse is for. Different takes of the characters to gauge where the interests of the audience are.

And what was said about rebirth?

DC gave up on every non-BM-related character lately.

Other companies seem to see the interest of the Smww dynamic and take advantage of it.
It’s not about not having interest, because there is. It’s that it seems too difficult because they are both powerhouses. It’s a creative challenge writers do not want to take up. Diana and Kal are complexed characters but have been diluted to very simple takes. There’s also the issue of not trying to understand them as characters and writing them to fit their comfort view. There needs to be a writer that can take up the challenge, instead of wanting comfort cliches.

They had a natural inclination towards them as a pairing too. I have posted fanmails from the pre-Crisis era of readers begging the WW editor to pair them, lol.

Can't say about the 1940s readers. Team-ups weren't usual at that time. SM and BM shared the World's Finest series but only teamed up for the first time with the 71th issue in the 50s.

Maybe but... Maybe not romantically. In the 40's the idea of a woman being saved by a man seemed extremely attractive, which would bring a complication in their relationship since the purpose of WW is precisely to be an independent woman capable of defending herself without necessarily being helped by a man but in situations of complicity, adventures as a team, would be welcome and, for sure, would have further consolidated the road for their love relationship.

Certainly having SM/WW teaming up earlier and regularly would've make writers as well as readers more used to see them together.
