Are they still using the New52 designs for the kids' books?

Everything matters... but not really. It's a vague statement that could mean anything.

It matters when stuff is referenced but then it ends up getting all twisted and don’t make sense with the contradictions.

Diana calling him "Kal" predated the post-Crisis era anyway, and was never an issue before. Sure it lost the importance it could've had before Byrne's reboot but "Kal" should be/is still a part of him in the modern era.

I think it was in “presents 32” issue, Diana called hm “Kal” and it was perceived as that meant Diana was falling for him more or something like that lol
“Kal” has significance to Superman himself and his dynamic with Diana, how deep it is. For Diana not to call him “Kal” is now weird and shows how distant they are.

“Kal” has significance to Superman himself and his dynamic with Diana, how deep it is. For Diana not to call him “Kal” is now weird and shows how distant they are.

Yeah, I think it was in that issue, but also in the JLA series of that time that Diana refer often to him as "Kal". During the pre-COIE era, Superman used to see himself as Kal or both Kal and Clark (late Bronze Age).

I want his Wonder Woman arc! I know it would’ve been amazing, especially with Hessia.

I think the WW arc was repurposed by Tony Daniel for his Deathstroke run. 🤔

I think I saw it in a Scholastic's book about Superman backstory, they retold Johns' Secret Origin but with the New52 outfit. It was amusing, lol.
