On Instagram Live, Michael Rosenbaum said him and Tom Welling are trying to develop an ANIMATED Smallville continuation.

I’d love an animated adaption of Smallville S11, that was one of the best Superman runs of all time. Guess it’s the only way we’d ever see Welling play “Superman” too

Loved him and Dini on Batman but I've always wanted to see him tackle the Man of Tomorrow for an extended period.

Given all the DCAU series coming, I’d still like to see a DCAU Superman comic that bridges the gap between the end of STAS S3 and JL. It could be a story about Clark trying to rebuild his rep after being brainwashed by Darkseid and struggling with everyone hating and fearing him. Also a chance to introduce more traditional Superman elements that weren’t present in STAS like other Superman Rogues, or even the DCAU versions of Rogues that came after like Dini adding the Court of Owls or Red Hood to the DCAU.

Guess it depends on how much these revival comics consider the previous tie ins/revival projects canon but Zod was introduced in an issue of Superman Adventures. Though like Supergirl, he wasn't from Krpyton.
