Hm guessing it will be a Diana/Clark WW Black & Gold story (making King the one guy to have a story in all three color anthologies). Looking forward to it though!

I'm sure the Wonder Woman fanbase is just bursting with joy at the idea of one of the spots in this limited series going to a Superman/Wonder Woman story, as written by the guy who did the remake of "For a Thousand Years" but this time with Wonder Woman being rejected by Batman instead of Superman.

Lol he’s been in a couple B&G stories so far, and I don’t think he’s made her look bad! Here’s hoping King doesn’t bungle the job, I don’t think he’ll make the same mistake again.

It's likely for the 80th Anniversary one-shot. As he and Shaner are both listed on that and not on the last issue of Black and Gold (which DC would probably advertise King if he was).

Though, yes. Superman getting such a big spot in a Wonder Woman-centric issue over presumably other WW characters is nonsense.

    Anyways, happy thoughts.

I mean Batman got some worship in Superman and Green Lantern's anniversaries so I don't see why they'd draw a line with Diana.

I don't remember Batman getting much character shilling in Action Comics 1000. Oh sure, he was in the first story because Lois was on the phone with him, but that wasn't for the sake of shilling him (we didn't even know it was him until the story was almost over, if anything when given context Lois is the one who looks better there), Diana was comparably prominent by virtue of appearing on-page, and it was all ultimately in the service of Clark. Nothing like the Johns' story in the Green Lantern anniversary special.

Action Comics 1000 was heavily Superman-centric (almost to its detriment; could have done with a Lois story there) and the few appearences of characters from other franchises in it were in service of Superman, not the other way around.

Well, I buy Clark's friendship with Diana more than her with Bruce. So small victories

and lol, don't even get me started on that Johns Hal/Bruce story.

    Agreed on both counts.

It's still goddamn annoying. The one in Action Comics #1000 was particularly egregious. Batman inspires the people of Metropolis. Eat my ass. lol

Apparently a DJ and producer. Maybe he has a Superman themed show planned? Or maybe he's scoring something with Superman in it?

Eight years ago, Scott Kurtz (@pvponline) wrote a 5-page Superman short story for fun. I volunteered to draw it. Well, I finally got around to finishing it and you can read it here:
