Nightwing has too many girls already. I always thought her and Pieter Cross would make a great pair.

PowerWing would be a fun short time thing. I think her and Pieter would be great, though.

I still like Mr. Terrific as a PG ship. Dr. Mid-Nite is good too I guess.

DickFire needs more love in comics. It gets a lot of love from the multimedia side of the equation, but for whatever reason, editorial has always hated it.

Oh, big time. She looks great in a suit, going back to when Conner and Basri drew her in them for her own series.

So on Word Balloon, Russell has hinted that Karen will likely break from Max's philosophy but it doesn't sound like she's mind controlled. He also isn't really concerned with if Max killed Ted. He uses continuity to enhance his stories but he doesn't like being shackled to it.

So yeah, I think any chance she's being mind controlled will be a retcon that comes from a later writer down the line

So Gaius asked who should voice Artemis in the WW game over in her own thread and in thinking about it, I realized Peri Gilpin (Volcana in STAS) is pretty much the perfect fit for Karen. She has the right register for Karen and can play either dramatic or sassy very, very well.

What's everyone else's idea for Karen's voice?

It's sounding to me like One Star Squadron is it's own thing outside of continuity personally. In which case assuming we get that JSA relaunch teased and she's apart of it, anything that One Star does with her will be ignored. I'm also not seeing how the Max shown in One-Star lines up with the one most recently seen in the main continuity in Jlvs Suicide and Tanaki's Wonder Woman runs. One-Star's seems to be the classic JLI, pre-Omac Project, kind-of-slimy-but-not-actually-evil version. Which kind of shows how bad Omac Project and Post Omac Project works have ended up re-defining his character, that it ruins any ability to use the older version of character for people.

I'm not really fealling worried assuming the above.

The Heckler referred to Karen's description of Max Lord's philosophy as a "cult". I would say she is not being mind-controlled so much as merely being misled. That can happen to heroes as well as to anyone else.
But yeah, the businesswoman "power suit" is a great costume for her.
