The J-man
The story is kind of bad but...
spoilers:end of spoilers
She-Hulk's been captive for a week-or so, being brainwashed by the Winter Guard to be turned into a Winter Hulk, who seems stronger than she has ever been. And while it's damned dumb... she looks quite cool in my book.
Well, that just happened...
~I just keep swimming through these threads~

I thought she looked dumb, almost comical.
It looks really silly, i think my favorite part is how extremely inconsistent the art is. When she was being prepped to fight the Avengers no one was putting a white suit on her, when she first breaks free her hand goes through a wall and it's still clearly green and without any clothes on it and then when she continues to fight she out of nowhere turns red and is wearing a white costume lol.
Anyway Jen barely appearing and doing anything in Immortal Hulk 49 that came out this week showed more of her character than an entire issue of a mini-event centered on her written by Aaron.
God this is dumb. Why is she red despite having nothing to do with cosmic radiation, the thing that has created red Hulks? Why does she have blonde hair? Why is the Winter Guard even interested in her in the first place rather than Aaron just giving them some Russian knockoff? The only hope is that, the fact that everyone is now calling her She-Hulk despite having been calling her Hulk this entire run, means that when this is over she’ll be back to the She-Hulk we all know and love.
Well, here's the real Jen on a Miles Morales variant cover:
Does anyone know WHY Aaron insists on calling She-Hulk, "Hulk"?
And did the whole thing start with the 2017 Mariko Tamaki series?
What was that about?
"Face Front... Nuff Said?"
He's written a few characters dissing her name (Jane Foster being one of them).
As for why:
- He views it as more "empowering" that she doesn't have "She" in her name. Just look at Jane Foster as Thor.
- She's basically just The Hulk of the team. She talks in the third person, talks about smashing all the time, etc.
- He can say he hooked Thor and The Hulk up.
