Ya know, thinking about Aaron's Avengers and She-Hulk...
I have not been paying much attention to it, but I recall Aaron making a big deal about how She-Hulk was super duper powerful now. Has that really factor into his run in any way? Every time I check in, she's still getting knocked around quite easily.
Also, has that romance gone anywhere with Thor? Seems like it was introduced and never done with outside of a token reference in other comics, but barely even that.
Opinions may vary in quality.
My big article on Mariko Tamaki's Hulk & She-Hulk runs, discussing the good, bad, and its creation.
My second big article on She-Hulk, discussing Jason Aaron's focus on her in Avengers #20.
Just wanted to share my take on Tatiana Maslany as Jen. I am super excited for this show and can't wait to see how they bring She-Hulk to life.

outside of few instances, no.
last time they mention that was at the end of Empyre event. Also, has that romance gone anywhere with Thor? Seems like it was introduced and never done with outside of a token reference in other comics, but barely even that.
in Immortal She-hulk one shot, Thor and Jen talked as if they aren't in relationship anymore.

I naively thought, well, sure, Scarlet Witch and Vision haven't been in many comics lately but they'll have to do some stories with them before their show comes out, right? Or while their show is coming out? Or for months after their show comes out?
And now we have a situation where Marvel has known for a year and a half that the She-Hulk is getting a series and that it will be a comedy, but they've made no move to return her to normal.
I suppose the comics division doesn't care about synergy because they can just go on doing what they do in the monthly comics, and reissue the characters' older material to tie in with the series. But geez...
Everyone worries when she'll return to "normal".... Look Aaron's take was meant to be extreme from the beginning, of course she'll be "normal" by runs end. For my money I don't want her dialed back to sexy scrawny... she can be sexy buff. I think that's what they'll be going for in the TV series. Using CG just to make the actor taller and greener would be a waste of money in my opinion.
