I just always heard some stereotype where men liked to be taller than their girlfriends/wives. It's not something I believe in (I don't believe in any of these sexist social constructs, but this is what I've heard)

As for the MCU, many have mentioned in this thread the suits also have to be comfortable for the actors. I can agree on that.
Yes they do. Models are known for their beauty. That kinda comes with the job

If they ever make an Avengers animated series again, I hope they don't follow the MCU cast, like please seriously, stop giving people the impression the "OG6" are the only active Avengers.
Wasn't it due to the previous heads of Marvel TV, who are now out?

Marvel animation could rival the DCAU in quality if it tried

I guess so. I just don't see how it matters if they're pretty or not when the clothes are the main focus. Plus beauty is subjective. But I guess that's another discussion

Well, social reasons in the sense of how they accentuate a woman's visuals, yeah.

People have their preferences, especially when it comes to beauty, although being tall doesn't seem to have impacted She-Hulk or Barda's popularity much...

Well thats pretty much how the industry has worked for the past several decades. Most designers do not want people they deem ugly to model their clothes

Sure. But their definition of beauty isn't necessarily logical

True. Because, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Also in the eye of the modeling company.

It's great and a bit surreal to see how Wanda, Vision, Agatha, Billy and Tommy become A-listers.

They've become more well known than a lot of "more popular characters". It's odd, but I guess it helps them. Even Monica and Jimmy Woo benefited from all that.

We'll see how much further SW rises in popularity after MoM
