Maybe Marvel shouldn't have made so many mutants it couldn't keep track of.

Or maybe Marvel should give more stories besides extinction to mutants.



That's kina what I mean. Janet was wasted in the MCU so she's moved to a "mentor" position in the comics as well, while Nadia is the main Wasp. It's the reverse of Wanda getting no benefit from the MCU's popularity

Jan has definitely been done dirty in the MCU. Whatever flaws in MCU Wanda, after WandaVision she’s very recognizable as comics Wanda: Eastern European with twin brother who started out fighting heroes but switched to become an Avenger; fell in love with robot & had twin boys; found out she was a witch; wears tiara; etc.

I hope someday we can see more of Jan’s character added to MCU Jan, but it’ll be much harder than it was with Wanda.

I hope someday we can see more of Jan’s character added to MCU Jan, but it’ll be much harder than it was with Wanda.

That's why I didn't like Ant-Man 1 despite liking Ant-Man himself. Scott is the hero but Hank is old, Jan is gone and Hope is rapidly aged up and sidelined by Hank throughout the movie when she trained for it her whole life. If her and Scott's genders were reversed, Scott would be called a Mary Sue!

Plus Wanda, Jan and Carol haven't had a chance to interact with one another as friends in the MCU despite doing so for decades in the comics.

How could they be that tone deaf about that story? Celebrating using a classic female Avenger as a plot device then fridging her is not a good look.

Yeah it's not a problem with whether or not it's real life stuff. It's that it fridged her after using her as a plot device and they keep the hate train going.
