Cap's death did make International News, even my Local Radio Station mentioned it.
The pont was that Wolverine who is one of the most popular heroes died and no-one cared, not even the media who did mention Superman, Cap's and Ultimate Spider-man's death; so even they were getting wise. Ron Frenz even pointed how shocking the lack of reaction to Logan's death was. Still death isn't permanent in comics, even the whole saying about Bucky, Uncle Ben and Jason Todd is no longer true.

Something different. The What If…? trailer just dropped, and although I see no AU Wanda in it, was there any hint one would show up?

There are some shots of a lady with red/scarlet energy, but she's always in silhouette so it is hard to say if it is Wanda

Yeah, at 1:33 that looks like Wanda (possibly "dark Wanda").
