Who would Wanda run from rather than stand and fight? Especially when she can literally fly or teleport away. Why can’t Magik or even Wicked just ask Wanda’s spirit who killed her? Or have Wanda tell them herself. Why wouldn’t Pietro be there with Vision and the others to grieve Wanda?

The same reason Pietro isn’t there, I presume. This story is about Magneto, with Wanda assuming her traditional role of nonverbal victim.

All this tease of a potential Skree War I want that tension payed off! I get Billy is busy with another space war, but surely Tommy has emotions on this he found the body! Dan Slott's She-Hulk showed that Spirit's cannot give reliable testimony. Still the easiest thing would be to read all the suspects' minds and see who is actually guilty.

Rachel and Jean being there should mean there would be no need for a trial, so hopefully they address that first thing.
