Why do you care so much? Does it bother you that I feel this way, are you mad? And they were living near her it's a small town *shrugs*

You and me both. Lizzie Olsen recently said that one thing she likes about Wanda in the comics is that you don't know if she's a hero or an antagonist, and that makes me wince, because the truth is she was an unambigous hero for most of her comics career and no one knows that any more.

I don't blame Lizzie at all. It's not her job to be familiar with the comics history, and if you only know the basic outline of her comics history (Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Avengers, Darker Than Scarlet, etc) it does seem like she's more of an anti-hero than she really was. Even more so in the MCU because she and Pietro willingly worked for Ultron instead of just being forced to serve Magneto.

More importantly, she likes playing flawed anti-heroes and she knew that if she could do that with Wanda she could knock it out of the park as an actor, which she did. And she made people love the character in spite of her flaws, which is good.

But I would like to see Wanda do one heroic thing again.

Since M-Day and they making Wanda resurrect those random 16 million mutants on genosha, you would think 616 Wanda it's like the Greek Goddess Eris.

Eris it's the goddess of chaos, strife and discord, only that Wanda ins't particularly evil when they make her screw up things...

I'm kinda with you in this lol

I also couldn't care less about the westview people and i don't know why it keeps being brough up here, sad that her mistake makes her an antihero in world but at least the show was a total sucess, gave her many fans and the general public knows the character even more, to say all the praise and awards nominations that it's getting (Emmys, etc)

If Lizzie said that she thinks Wanda is a anti-hero, i really don't blame her seeing how Wanda has being portrayed screw up things for a decade in the books, even thought it's clear that she doesn't know the past of the character but she doesn't has to.

Yep, her public image is already warped beyond recognition, thanks to AD/HoM, and how media frames her character in the bigger fandom.

Also honestly? Give me that editorial golden boys/girls narrative protection, AKA not fucking up too hard and always have a convenient excuse lol.
Why she is denied that is obvious of course, but I want that deal for Wanda.

Yeah I'd like her to be true to character and then if they wanted to do an anti-hero, have it be an alt earth version. Wanda needs more stability. I know her powers are chaos, but the whole point of that was that she learned to control the chaos. Used a villainous elder god's powers to do good.

I don't blame actors either. They are just hired for a role, and most don't know their characters well. Every once in a while you'll get a Joe Manganiello. But rarely.

I’m mostly just curious how someone could be so apathetic.

Are you mad I’m asking you to explain yourself? Does it bother you that you might have a veeeery controversial opinion that borders on being objectively morally wrong?

You could at least try answering some of the questions I’ve posed.

I want AU Wanda who nailed Chthon to his throne and decide to take over Darkhold's writing.
The more she does her new job the more she is aware of her own nature and the universe she occupies.
Basically Wanda ended up as a more cynical 4th wallbreaking character who lashes out randomly due to her realization of the world, but she always fix things later since she is good natured, or she wants to believe that(basically she does quick save to **** things up for **** and giggles and then quick load lol.)
Basically I kinda want to see what fictional Wanda will react to her state of being in real life publication. That would be the only reasonable insane Wanda I want to see lol.

Yeah, she and Hank have gotten the rough end of the stick while others have done far worse and yet got off Scott-Free

Yep, when both Tony and Hank pulled some torture porn on themselves, Tony kinda got his image cleaned after civil war during Dark Reign, while Hank is just thrown further into the abyss with all that Pymtron business to never see the light of the day.
That, could very well be Wanda, and I honestly fear her newly gained popularity is the only thing that still kinda protects her from that fate.

At least Hank being Pymtron means he doesn't have to go through any more derailment and mistreatment unlike Wanda has recently

I mean old Pym kinda straight up cease to exist as a character, honestly that is worse than Wanda who still has some hope in her.
One is dead and buried in dirt, the other is struggling to live.

I'm apathetic cause it's a show & I have no reason to care about those people so I don't. As for the second part why should I? I don't care what you think & I done talked about it at least 3 times now, if you don't get it that's on you it's not my job to teach *shrugs*

You don’t have a reason to care about Wanda, either. It’s just a show after all.

And if you’re done to talking me, stop responding. You post an opinion, people are going to comment on it. That’s how life is. I acclimated to the idea a long time ago.
