If your referring to the posts I made of him and Wanda together I was corrected that those where from the 2016 Uncanny Avengers and not the Darkhold. I think Marvel just silently broke them up.

All my slander aside, I do like the chains in Chthon's body, emphasized his status of sealed away from Earth.
I do hope he gets more specific characterization in this book despite that look.

I've always known Chton as a dark faced entity with a blue cloak and hood.
