There was a Shadowland tie-in where Shang teamed up with Spider-Man against Mr. Negative.

Preview highlighted some cool new bits. The story beats are starting to form here. For instance, I can see Shang and Akwafina's character being valets then attacked by Wenwu's forces which leads to the chase through the streets of San Francisco and the fight on the bus. The footage leads me to think this. Hoping that it comes true!

There was a Shadowland tie-in where Shang teamed up with Spider-Man against Mr. Negative.

I definitely think Mr. Negative could become part of Shang's rogue gallery while still being a Spider-Man villain, in the same way Kingpin plays a prominent role in Daredevil's rogue gallery while being a Spider-Man villain. Shang probably sees a lot of his father in Martin Li. Plus, Shang has been one of the only characters to fight off his control. Mr. Negative has to be intrigued.

- I've been watching a lot of reactions to the Shang-Chi trailer on YouTube. I'm glad to see Shang-Chi is gaining momentum. Indeed, Comics Explained and Watchmojo have released the origins of Shang-Chi vids. Here's Watchmojo's:



- I think it's been mentioned before, but the characters in Shang-Chi's Chinese name have changed. They are now "尚氣" which is different from the previous "上氣." The pronunciation is the same, but I think the new name makes better sense. My Chinese is rusty, but 尚氣 has a meaning of "not yet chi"? Like he's still forming? Anyone else can shed light on that would be great.
