Dear god, AGAIN? My searches will again be contaminated by this nonsense.

And these are old rumors -- I think the Huerta casting news was from last year, and of course, all these click bait sites immediately "confirmed" he was playing Namor in the BP2. The "Mayan" casting call is also old news, from February, IIRC. And again, the click bait sites then all "confirmed" that Mayan was code for Atlanteans.

Yes, there's been a Mesoamerican take on Atlantis, the 19th century Atlantis: The Antediluvian World by Donelly, which is racist, so I would hope Marvel would avoid that mess.
