I managed to preorder when it got up on GameStop. I wasn't able to get it when Funko put it up. I think scalpers got all or most of the supply from Funko's site. I got on the site at the right time. Got on the queue. Queue took me to the shop collection page, where I clicked the button. It then sent me back to the queue, with ever-escalating wait times. By the time the queue let me back on again, just about everything was sold out.
I suspect scalpers used multiple devices to get on immediately, but then they had to go through checkout individually on each device, so wait times kept getting pushed up as it took the scalpers time to put in their orders. If you check Ebay right now, there are 29 results for the Polaris Funko Pop. The first result alone has 6 available with 17 already sold, by the same seller, at $45 (vs $15 if you get it right from GameStop). Quite a lot of interest for so many people to be willing to pay $45 (or in some cases $60 if you look at first result's buy it now history) for a Funko of her. Obviously bolstered a lot by being a special NYCC item that glows in the dark, but still shows there's a lot of interest in her. Otherwise there'd be a lot of people thinking it's not worth the special treatment and not worth the trouble of getting.I can also be reached on BlueSky and Tumblr. Avatar by kahlart.

With the variant cover of TTOM, if I'm not mistaken issue #4 by Scott Forbes, with Polaris and Wanda, it reminded me of a comment by someone here, who theorized that Polaris' attitudes would indicate she was being influenced, something like that , although it might be something in my head lol

If there was one comic this Fall I was hoping Lorna would have at least one page of being in more then any other or all others it was this one to show what is driving her. Originally Posted by Soulsword323
