Lorna does look like she's crying, but her arm also looks injured. I'm assuming that's blood.

I don't think she's crying over the blood, though. She seems in grief and anguish.

I bet Magneto lashed out and Lorna was inadvertently injured.

Not a fan at all of the expression on Lorna in the left picture, but we'll see if context makes a difference.

It's noteworthy that there's a difference in expression between the two pictures. The picture on the right is more of a quiet, calm, resolute attitude to her sadness, compared to the other one.

I have no plans to buy or read this. I think I would have given the first issue a shot if Lorna on this past year's X-Factor had never happened. I have other thoughts but they're dependent on what happens in the future and don't need to be said now.

I find I have to agree with salarta that Lorna looks like she is going to emotionally collapse and absolutely shatter into a million pieces on the left. On the right she looks stoic and brave though clearly suffering. I don't know the contest of the what is going on there and will reserve judgement, but I have to hope whatever drama occurs is well written and not forced.

This seems likely given how Leah has written them together but this doesn´t make this any less OC for them both unless marvel is getting ready to make him a villain again.

Leah's Magneto does always seem to be one small step away from going full Ultimate on Lorna yes.

To be fair, that universe's concept of Lorna deserved it for using that slur.

I felt that concept deserved it for being piss poor in general.
