They need to do a Storm: Regent of Sol book now i just can't stop thinking about it. Bishop could be there as the general and put together the army. Though i must admit he would be a far better fit in X-force but i think it could be good for him. Manifold can pull double duty on Sword and the book as transport as storm starts traversing the universe making treaties and planting gates there. *sigh* The Guardians could act as her first escort somewhere.

Considering a common thundercloud contains more energy than any single nuclear power plant, I say sensors of any kind will be screwed from the very start, the same energy that makes storm’s brain unpleasant for telepaths is going to mess with long range observation and recordings.

Omega level thermokinesis: destabilizes matter on the atomic level (bye bye structural integrity), messes up any thermochemical reaction in the jet engines and conventional energy storage, heat vent non operational.
Omega level atmokinesis: jovian level pressures to turn the sentinels into very expensive unmanageable trash cans, rag dolls to play with or sitting ducks waiting for the slaughter? Pick your poison!
Omega level hydrokinesis: fill their every sockets and empty spaces to the brim with humidity and water, turn it all to ice, suddenly these sentinels have 3 times the mass they were designed for and all their mechanical components are stuck frozen in place, hydraulics go bust, the volume increase alone would be enough to cause irreversible catastrophic damage to the external shielding.
Omega level electrokinesis: any circuit, conductor, processor and pieces of high tech gets either fried or messed with on the most fundamental level, any significant power transmission gets to a sudden stop, forget calculation-retaliation, self repair etc. …. These machines don’t run on happy thoughts, without power generation and transmission it is GAME OVER!

These are just the tip of the iceberg in Ororo’s arsenal, the most basic tools really, nothing fancy or complicated, she doesn’t even need to be on the line of sight, Storm’s reach goes far beyond any sentinel ability to reach her and she still has much more…..

It's just pretty safe to say no writer of current Marvel knows how Ro's powers work. This subject has been brought up a lot but consider her powers set is used as mainly wind, lighting and thunder plus she's mainly been used as a support role i doubt any writer would really be interested in going deep into her power set. You guys are fans so I'm sure you have more of idea of how her powers work or should work but in the grand scheme this is comic books and power-levling is meaningless in a sense that a writer could have MunRo take out hulk then next thing she gets fatally shot in the torso by some hired gun basically my point is her powers will probably never be fully recognized and used like some in this thread want because at the end of the day it all comes down to the person with the pen and knowledge of the character, I'm super sayin.

But …..but.. this is just light stuff, there is no businesses writing her if the writer can’t grasp these simple concepts…….. I haven’t even mentioned her Omega Level Ergo-kinetic Vision.
The Hulk, Black Panther & co are pulling new powers out of their behind on a monthly basis to the point that they make hardly any sense but a basic understanding of Storm’s power is problematic?
We are talking about one of marvel’s top Players, she’s regent of sol not because of her awesome B side or to fill some generic diversity quota…… Ororo, Hadari Yao is the regent of sol because she represent power incarnate, reliable and stable power with divine ascendency, she is doing what only she could do, no one else can even compete.
