Yeah it didn't really click until I was told that Tarn can only manipulate mutant DNA. I assumed he could shake up the whole bag like Elixir. But it does sort of make you wonder if maaaaaaaaaybe Ewing was trying to drop a tiny seed.

He is half mutant himself as well, i was just looking him up and his supposedly half amenthian mutant and half daemon so he would def have some inside info. And it also seems that yes, his powers do only work on mutants. It also now thinking about it, makes no sense that he would have only changed half of Storm if he could have just turned her completely into something that could not fight. Now i wonder if storm was testing herself more than we know.

So far all we know is it lets her power works on things they don't normally work on. And we also know there is a complete goddess in there somewhere that was awakened in shuri when she was under the influence of mushrooms, no faith required.

I disagree here. In the sense that Tarn specifically says he turned off her mutant powers. Also beyond that it seems only mutants can challenge for the throne of Arrako so even if Storm did use goddess powers it would have been cheating.

That jump in sales had nothing to do with Storm though. Even though she was on the cover, was the main point in the synopsis, and preview. Storm had nothing to do with that boost. Delusional, I say. Delusional!

As previously stated, Tarn's powers only work on mutant powers so he could not take something that was not a mutant power. The Storm's "and more."

thanks for the link but you know me well enough now. marvel wikis are not canon. where in 616 does it say his manipulation of biological content is limited to just mutants? he is new to the main marvel universe and thus has not encountered anyone other than mutants with the exception of storm (who is bot mutant and god). his manipulation of sorts was based upon the alteration of her DNA; again not just her xgene. that would encompass the entirety of her her genetics which would include her divine portion of it.

when has tarn fought a non-mutant though? that is what makes that wiki flawed. it makes a statement as if he can only affect mutants but thst would be like if someone were to say Emma can only read mutant minds because she had only done this to mutants at one point. thst doesn't really make sense.

Do you believe that Tarn could interfere with Ororo's mystical powers? I think if he could do that, he would be very powerful, to the point of manipulating the biology of gods like thor, odin and etc...

when has tarn fought a non-mutant though?

doesn't matter so far he can only change mutants, that may be because he has only fought that but that history has more backing than assuming he can change the dna of anyone. IF that was the case he should have been ended that war in amenth or done more than police mutant prisoners.
