Heh, what a nice little Monday surprise on my way to work! I'm assuming this is canon since no one is saying differently? If so then what a major WIN for Storm! Teaming up with Thor AND highlighting how she is the superior weather manipulator and he recognizes that fact and does not shy way from it or let his ego get in the way. His fans should take notes!

Also, I never thought I'd see Storm modern day Storm pull off a X-men TAS speech. I squealed like a pig when I read that and I fully accept the odd looks I got.

lol this logic is so dumb, if odin strength were needed to perform these feats then Thor could have done it on his own.

Are you really surprised though, lol? You should know by now that when it comes to Storm, all bets are off when it comes to discrediting her accomplishments.

Thinking about that Sun aspect for a moment, could this be another Goddess sighting? I mean clearly the Skrulls were believing in her as their only hope since Thor couldn't do the job. From everything we know so far, her Godhood abilities seem to overlap heavily with her elemental abilities.

Or do you guys think this was strictly her mutant powers at work? Either way, creating a permanently functional sun, even miniature, is one hell of a feat!

Omg I just awoke to this beautiful storm story with thor:

She uses her powers in space instantly
Creates light to power alien technology
Creates atmosphere from nothing on alien planet bringing rainforest crops
Creates light that behaves as sun for planet to provide energy to crops


That was freaking epic I love it!

I think this was goddess storm powered by the faith of thor lol. and albeit im joking a little one may argue this was her mutant power but marvel advertised this as the weather goddess not omega level mutant so im thinking it was goddess sighting.

I took it as they made it very clear it was goddess storm the moment she said "I summon the full power of the elements." also i thought it was a nice touch when she was doubting he called her Storm but when she embraced the goddess he referred to her as windrider. a nice difference there. It shows thor too knows her legacy to come.

Imao heard that she was using Odin's strength to accomplish these actual feats because of Thor's speech. How many times will they try to belittle Storm's abilities?

he said Odin would give her strength and she followed that up by asking her goddess to help her. it was all her power Odin didn't do anything.

I remember this. That's one sexy design. But honestly i think the real beauty in this story was the mentor feeling that came off. At least for me. I could see this duo having like young storm/gambit type adventures. lol

Storm told her that Rachel can't stop her even if she tried. That's when I knew this girl was way over her head. I mean she tried the same thing with Emma toll she was schooled and Emma doesn't have the amount of raw power that storm has. A fight between storm and Rachel would be bad for Rachel.

My head is still spinning because this is huge! like really really huge! It gives a whole new meaning to the regent of Sol when she can literally generate a self sustaining sun! More of this in xmen red please, thank you!

Storm just did something I don't know she could generate light! Not bio electricity but actual light! Mind blown.

yes babe this is a complete and utter new feat. she not only created light to provide energy for a planet but also atmosphere from nothing. she didn't even do this when she helped terraform Mars.

It would actually fit in canon as happening right before Powers and House of X as that would be the krakoan flower in the pot that we saw Storm carrying.
